UGH!!! I have pictures I need to post but it won't let me so bear with me. Keeps saying error or something.

Ari's Imagination...

Ari cracks me up...her mind is always going. She has been the one that doesn't need entertained or has to have someone play with her. She spends a lot of time in her "own" world. Recently it had rained and I look outside and she is playing in the mud!! Mind you were about to have company. I go out and ask her what she is doing and she replies I making a beaver house. Several weeks ago she rode around with Charlie and he had to go work on some property that had a beaver dam and it needed some work. So, that is where her little venture came to be.

Home Ec. Rocks!!!

When I was in High School I took four years of home ec. I think in the very beginning I thought why in the world am I taking this. Now as an adult I'm so glad I did!! I have had so much fun sewing. Granted, I had to reteach myself some things but it is so worth it. I also love to cook!! My speciality is desserts...or so my family tells me. Not sure what possessed me to talk about this but, I was on the phone with my mom today and home ec was brought up. I hope my girl's take it and enjoy it as much as I did.
When I sew it makes me feel accomplished....granted there are times I want to throw my machine out the window. I have to walk away and stop for a bit then I can finish. There are times I can't sleep because I am going over in my head why I can't get the project to work out...I usually can figure it out which makes me feel good. I would like to say that it is a stress reliever but sometimes it is the source of my stress!! Oh well, it won't stop me from trying new things and keep making new things!!
Unfortunately I can't get any pictures to post! Maybe another day. Most of you have seen what I've made, I usually put it on facebook!!

Busy!!

Hello my blogging family!! It has been a crazy few months!! I'm going to let Molly, my oldest daughter post. She will want to tell you about he play she was in. So with that in mind I will have her get on here and talk about it in the next day or so!!

My new favorite past time

I have found a new passion!! I have got the auction bug. For the past 2 weeks I have gone with some girlfriends. I love it! Granted every time I bid on something I got super nervous and had knots in my tummy! Crazy, I know. I keep hoping to get that perfect item. I have had my eye on several items but chicken out and stop bidding. I will get it next time I just know it!!! Can't wait for my next auction which will be Wednesday hopefully I will have some pictures to brag about!! Until next time!! Over and out.

This is Molly's second year with the Performing Arts Academy, her first year doing the big production at the Orpheum. She is super excited (so am I) This years play is ANNIE. I love that play it is one of my favorite musicals. Molly will be playing the part of Polly which is one of the orphans. The practices are going well and the countdown is on until the big production. Which is April 29th, 30th, and May 1st. It will be a phenomenal production, I suggest you all go and see it. Thanks for reading my advertisement!! I plan on being more faithful with my blogging. Life gets in the way at times!!!

1798 Bluebird

Well it finally happened, 2.5 months after we made an offer we finally signed papers. It was a long road....it ended up being a short sale which was not disclosed to us when we were looking at it and when we made an offer. We were told 3 weeks later. We prayed a lot!! The Lord truely blessed us. The funny thing is I did not want to look at this house at first. The pictures online did nothing for me and we thought it was out of our price range. But, God had another plan...I give him full credit for this house. As soon as I walked into the house for our first look...I was in love it had everything that was on my list. Which was a big open kitchen, a fireplace, a fenced in yard, and at least 1.5 baths!! I was sooo happy!!!! We finally were able to close on February 8th...which happened to be our 14th wedding anniversary....God works in mysterious ways. It was an amazing gift. We moved that weekend. With the help of some great friends they helped me paint the girls' room and do some cleaning. We had an amazing crew that helped us move and some wonderful friends who brought over some awesome lunch. I had started packing 2 months ago so it wasn't too bad...but we were amazed at how much stuff we had in our old house...Charlie wonders where it all was at the old house. We never sold our house but are going to try the renting thing for awhile and we have some renters who are getting ready to move in which is awesome!! So that is our house story in a nutshell. Will definitely post pictures. Would like to take one of the front of the house before I post them though you gotta get the full effect. Thanks for reading.
