Reading is fun

Hello peoples, I bet you have all have missed me!! Ha-Ha.  Things have been so crazy...but, now it is slowing down...some...

Well, if you know me you know that I love to read!!  And what is more fun than reading?  Well, reading with a group of course.  In the past I was involved in a fun book club...shout out to my former lit wits Hi guys!!  I had been feeling for awhile that it was time to bow out of that club and start my own.  Had some other people that wanted to be a part of a club but would have been way too many people. So, now our group has formed and we have read our first book:  The Help which I highly recommend!!  We are moving onto our second book.  The Thirteenth Tale.  I'm liking it!!  There are 8 of us and hopefully all of us will be at our next meeting!!!  As you can imagine we do get sidetracked...but, do get back to the book and talking about it.  We are going to take turns meeting at each others houses and bring snacks etc.
We are in the process of trying to come up with a fun name which we will be voting on at our next meeting.  We also hope to take pictures and we might even venture out and do some vlogging we shall see!!

I know in my previous post I was having a pity party about friends...well I'm so excited to have found some new friends, old friends, and rekindling older ones.  It has been a blessing!!  I'm trying to keep my jealously in check.  Granted I still want someone to do whatever with whenever (within reason).  Spontaneity baby!!  I do love the friends I have.

I hope to be better at blogging this year cause you all know I have great things to say!!

Friendship.....

I'm back...This blog is going to be a little selfish.  I'm going to talk about myself so if you don't want to hear me babble then you don't have to read it.  Friends are important to me I love hanging out with them.  I have a lot of friends, I'm a likable person.  As my hubby always says "everybody loves Sherri"  I hate when he says that....don't ask me why I just feel conceited or something.  I have a few really close friends that I can tell anything to and vice versa.
Something is missing though.  I know it will sound weird to a lot of you but, this is how I'm feeling at this time.  No, I'm not wanting pity or people feeling sorry for me it has just been on my mind a lot lately.  Don't get me wrong, I love the friends I have they are very dear and near to my heart.  I know I will have a hard time getting my feelings across there is a lot bouncing around in my brain.  So forgive me if I babble.
I want that person that I can call whenever and I won't feel like I'm bothering them or intruding and I want them to feel that way about me also.  I want to have the same interests, never get bored with each other always be up for something.  Have the same or similar morals.    I want our families to hang out and do things on the weekends.  It doesn't even have to be every weekend but just knowing at the drop of a hat we could plan something.
I have a couple of friends whom I envy ( I know I need to pray about that)  They have been friends forever and they are always doing something together and they have so much fun.  I love them dearly.  But, I'm being selfish because I want that!!!
Granted my husband is my best friend but, get real people you all know they don't want to hear everything that goes on in our brains.
Another person I can count on is Jesus but, I want that physical being that can go shopping with me. AHHH there seems to be so much more I want to say but it isn't making sense in my head.  This might be a continuing post.  We shall see don't want to bore people and make them think that I'm depressed.  I'm not just maybe in a funk.  Or Jesus is working on me.  Or I'm crazy (just kidding).  As I finish this post, I will leave you with this last thought.
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:If either of them falls down, one can help the other up, But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.  Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone?  Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves, A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."  Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
