Saturday Molly and I and several other mom's and there daughters went to Dunlap,Illinois. We have started a tween group at church. We are using Dannah Gresh's book 8 Great Dates for you and your daughter. The study is on modesty and inner beauty and how God sees you. So, for the first date we went to this adorable place in the tiny town of Dunlap. It was quite the adventure getting there. We had directions but my driver wasn't very sure of herself even though she has been there previously. We were out in the middle of no where so she knew that was right. We only turned around once. The other person driving had GPS in there vehicle so she led the way after that. We come to this road closed sign....and guess what we went right around it!!! It was pretty funny. Once we arrived at the tea room we of course took photos. Inside we were seated then we looked around and the girls' went and picked out there charms for there bracelets. Each of us got to wear a tiara. Each tiara was a replica of what the Queen and princesses actually wore it was so much fun. The food was so cute and yummy. Finger foods mind you so let's just say some of the girl's were still hungry!! A good time was had by all and I would highly recommend you all to go there.

Happy Father's Day Daddy!!
We had fun this year!! We actually celebrated early with Charlie. We decided to surprise daddy with an Xbox 360. I did pretty well at the yard sale I had with some friends of mine, so I decided to use that money and some other money that I hadn't used in my envelope system. I told the girl's on Monday what we were going to do of course they thought that was an excellent idea. The big thing was they had to keep it a surprise. We initially were going to wait until Saturday night but, they didn't think they could wait that long. Bless Ari's heart she tried not to tell anyone but, she did tell a few people. Fortunately no one that would be talking to daddy. I decided to get it and give it to him on Thursday. We made things interesting though. We sent him on a scavenger hunt. It took him quite a few places. Outside to our shed, in the kitchen, the bathroom, his chair, our bedroom ( the one he has worked so hard on and is finished) and lastly into the girl's room. The present was wrapped and sitting in there closet. He was utterly shocked, surprised, his words were "I'm so humbled". It made my day to be able to do that for him.

The Review!!
A few weeks ago Judy's Dance had her annual review for all the classes she offers. Molly is involved in Jazz and does quite well. I think we have found her niche!! Her song was Let's Dance. Let's just say there was a lot of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, High School Musical, Cheetah Girls you get the idea. Ari did such a good job also her routine was to a song called The Party's Just Begun. Gymnastics is definitely right up her alley. Can't wait to see how they progress.

Springfield..... Here we come!
Several weeks ago I had the opportunity to accompany Molly on her 5Th grade field trip. We had to be at the school at 6:30 and the charter bus left at 6:45. Molly was so excited. She loves history. Her class just finished studying Abraham Lincoln. We went to Salem, Lincoln's Tomb where she attempted to rub his nose. Then we proceeded to the State Capital. We ended at the Abraham Lincoln Museum. It was a great trip. The museum is amazing. I need to go back when I have time to actually look and read things. I was in charge of two other girls besides Molly and they kept me hopping. A good time was had by all. I will add some pictures momentarily I want to do a slide show because I can't just pick 5 photos.
