1798 Bluebird

Well it finally happened, 2.5 months after we made an offer we finally signed papers. It was a long road....it ended up being a short sale which was not disclosed to us when we were looking at it and when we made an offer. We were told 3 weeks later. We prayed a lot!! The Lord truely blessed us. The funny thing is I did not want to look at this house at first. The pictures online did nothing for me and we thought it was out of our price range. But, God had another plan...I give him full credit for this house. As soon as I walked into the house for our first look...I was in love it had everything that was on my list. Which was a big open kitchen, a fireplace, a fenced in yard, and at least 1.5 baths!! I was sooo happy!!!! We finally were able to close on February 8th...which happened to be our 14th wedding anniversary....God works in mysterious ways. It was an amazing gift. We moved that weekend. With the help of some great friends they helped me paint the girls' room and do some cleaning. We had an amazing crew that helped us move and some wonderful friends who brought over some awesome lunch. I had started packing 2 months ago so it wasn't too bad...but we were amazed at how much stuff we had in our old house...Charlie wonders where it all was at the old house. We never sold our house but are going to try the renting thing for awhile and we have some renters who are getting ready to move in which is awesome!! So that is our house story in a nutshell. Will definitely post pictures. Would like to take one of the front of the house before I post them though you gotta get the full effect. Thanks for reading.

BUSY,BUSY,BUSY

OK my blog family.....I will have tons to post after the new year. Things are really crazy in the Bailey household. Between me trying to pack the house to move. Celebrating Christmas, and getting ready to dive head first into a New Year hasn't left much time for blogging!! I know how disappointed you all are (insert tons of sarcasm!) I shall return in 2011!! Wow how weird does that look. Catch you all on the flip side!

Big Changes

There is lots of new things going on in the Bailey household lately. We took our house off the market and decided to rent it out. We looked a bunch of houses in Galesburg....will save that for another posting!! Found a house!! And I for the first time have started working. Don't get me wrong I have worked. Mostly odds and ends stuff. My most recent venture with working is filling in as secretary at the church. My newest adventure though is subbing for teacher's aides in the Special Education department. I was told I could work everyday if I wanted to. So far I have really enjoyed it and looking forward to what God has in store for me in that department.

Still here!!

Wow it has been way too long since I have posted. Things are still crazy fun in the Bailey household. Charlie and I decided to take our house off of the market. It has been on for almost a year and no bites. Been praying about it and decided to rent it out....we even already have renters lined up...God works in mysterious ways.... We are now in the process of looking for a house that will best fit the needs of our family. It has been a fun process so far. Have looked at quite a few houses, going to look at a few more this week. We serve an amazing God and he will lead us the the house that is just right for us.
We have been meeting regularly with our wonderful small group and are loving getting to know everyone better on a more deeper level.
I hope this post finds you all happy, healthy, and loving life!!
I hope to post more frequently and soon hope to have pictures up of our new home!!!

Still here!!

Life in full swing

Life is busy at the Bailey house. The girls' are back in school. AWANA and IMPACT have started back up. Jazz and gymnastics, small group, Performing Arts for Molly. M2M and Creative Escapes for me. My hubby is working hard to provide for his family. I helped for the first time in the concession stand at Lombard which was quite fun!!
Molly just finished a big project for science: Collecting and naming 20 bugs. We are both so glad it is over!!!
I love my life and wouldn't trade it for anything. I love sharing snippets with my cyber family.

New Addition

It has been an exciting time around the Bailey household. My BIL and SIL adopted a little boy from Ethiopia named Elijah. He is the cutest little guy ever. I know they have bragged but since I'm the aunt I think I have some bragging rights also!!! I'm so excited and happy for them. Eli is an awesome addition to the Bailey clan. The girls' have had a lot of fun playing with him. Can't wait to watch him grow up.
