First Day Of School!!!

I can't believe school started today! Ari woke up this morning and was so excited. She exclaimed it's Monday, it's Monday the first day of school. This is her first year. She was doing just fine until we got closer to the school then she grew very quiet and somber. We go find her teacher who is very nice. Ari didn't move very far from my leg. I was having a hard time not tearing up!!!! I could tell Ari was having a hard time. The class proceeded to go inside and I went about emptying her backpack. Ari is starting to cry and wanting me to stay. She wasn't sobbing but the tears were flowing. I had to swallow a lot and look away. When I left the room she was fine. I proceeded to the library where the PTO put on a Boo-Hoo breakfast for the kindergarten parents. It was really nice. Molly entered fifth grade this year and I didn't see her after we pulled up at school. She was already off with her friends. It has already begun. Molly and Ari are in the same hallway so maybe that will help. I will add my pictures later because I still have a few more to take. I will miss my girl's!!!

Prayer's

I was putting Ari to bed tonight and as always I asked if she wanted to pray. She did and this is how it went. "Dear Heavenly father, thank you for mommy buying me new underwear, they are so comfortable and they go on so good even when you are all wet. In Jesus name Amen. I thought that was so cute. Kids are thankful for the practical things!

The Clydesdales

The Anheuser Busch Clydesdale's have been in Galesburg all of this week and I've been wanting to take the girl's to go and see them. We finally made it to the Armory where they have been housed. Yesterday afternoon they were going to hook up the horses to the wagon and then deliver beer downtown to the area bars. It was pretty neat to see. We stood with the Potter's so the kids enjoyed talking and I enjoyed talking to Nikki. I took a lot of pictures but I won't put them all in. The kids would have liked to stay longer and watch the wagon leave but, we were having company that night and we were down to the wire.

Mommy's Little Helpers

We are trying to teach the girls' about helping out around the house, so the other night after supper daddy had them empty the dishwasher and put the dishes away. Then when that was done he had them load it with the dirty supper dishes. They did a good job and they had fun while doing it. I think we are onto something here. Enjoy some cute photos.

12:49 A.M. Need I say More!!!

Here I am up when I should be sound asleep having great dreams. I've been reading this book called My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult very good so far. I decided to read for awhile instead of wasting my time on the computer. At 9:30 I picked it up and couldn't put it down Charlie went to bed at 10:00 and I decided to read a little while longer pretty soon it was 11:30. I said to myself I have got to go to bed. Well I laid in bed for at least an hour and could not for the life of me fall asleep. I don"t know if I'm wound up with the book or what. It is an interesting book. It is about a family whose oldest daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia when she was little and they decided to have another child for the purpose of her bone marrow and cord blood. They called her a designer baby. Anyway the youngest daughter is now 13 and hires an attorney to try and get medically emancipated from her parents. She is tired of being poked and prodded and they want her kidney. It is a lot to swallow. I also am thinking about my kids going back to school. Ari will go to kindergarten this year I can't believe it. The summer went by fast. My kids are growing up even faster. I hope I will fall asleep soon. The kids are getting haircuts tomorrow and we are having company tomorrow night so I need to do stuff for that. Until next time.......I hope it won't be at 1:00 in the morning!!

Flowers

OK so I lied not really. I forgot about these pictures. I bought these flowers Gladiolas I believe at the vegetable stand in the old ShopKo parking lot. I thought they were absolutely gorgeous. They lasted an entire week. What an awesome God we serve. His handiwork is everywhere.

The More The Merrier

Today I helped out a couple of friends by watching their kiddos! I will tell you they are a bunch of great kids. Including my two we had a total of 8 children!! The morning was started by the Potter's coming at 7:15, then we proceeded to the Oxley's at 9:00 Amy had to have her wisdom teeth pulled. The kids had so much fun playing. The twins were only with us for a little while then they laid down for a nap, all went well! I'm glad I could help my friends out and know they would do the same for me. Enjoy some cute pictures. Hey I'm caught up on my blogging I think.
